ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) - Special Olympics Escambia/Santa Rosa announced its second annual Mardi Gras Fun Run and Walk will be held Saturday, February 16.
Officials said all proceeds benefit local Special Olympics athletes in their endeavors.
Organizers said a finish line party will immediately follow the event - complete with great food, beer, music and family-friendly activities.
Start time will be noon and packet pick-up is available the day and location of the event from 10:30–11:30am or early pick up is available on Friday, Feb. 15. from 4:00-8:00pm at Bayview Community Center, 2001 E Lloyd St., Pensacola 32503.
