MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Early Sunday morning, Mobile Police responded to a traffic crash involving two motorcycles on Interstate 65 near Bay Bridge Road.
When they arrived, they found a 30-year-old male lying in the southbound lanes.
Mobile Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced him dead on the scene.
According to investigators, the victim was speeding when he lost control of his motorcycle.
A second motorcyclist was behind the victim and struck his motorcycle as the victim slid across his path.
The second driver suffered non life-threatening injuries and was transported to the University of South Alabama Medical Center.
The victim's identity will be released once family has been notified.
