As shoppers fill their bags they are also helping a good cause.The store benefits the Penelope House which helps victims ofdomestic violence. “When they come to us, a lot of timesthey're in a police car, and, that's it. They've left everythingbehind,” said shop manager Robin Wade.
But the victims are able to start re-building because when youshop these deals your money is going much further than the cashregister, it’s going to those who need it most.
Penelope’s Closet is open Tuesday through Saturday.It’s located on north Florida Street in Mobile.
