BALDWIN COUNTY, AL (WALA) -

In north Baldwin County Tuesday, a man has been arrested in connection with a homicide in Perdido.

Baldwin County Sheriff's Office deputies say the victim is a man in his early 20s. Investigators believe the victim made it to a fence line along Hoyle Bryers Road under his own power before collapsing there.

The road near the intersection of Dallas Hadley Lane was blocked off while investigators looked for evidence in a crime scene that they say is between a quarter and a half a mile wide.

"We believe that obviously the homicide did not happen where we found the victim.," said Sheriff Huey "Hoss" Mach. "We believe right now that it happened at a residence some distance away from here or at least that's where it started."

Justin Bryan Still, 31, of Atmore has been charged in the murder.

Early in the investigation today, Perdido Elementary was put on lockdown for a short period of time.
