INGREDIENTS:

For grits:

1 cup whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
½ stick butter unsalted
½ cup grits
½ lb shredded yellow cheddar
S&P to taste

Creole cream sauce:

¼ cup Conecuh sausage, quarter moon sliced
¼ cup Andouille sausage, quarter moon sliced
1 tsp minced shallot
1 tsp minced garlic
2 oz white wine
7 peeled and deveined tail on gulf shrimp
¾ cup Worcestershire 
¼ cup heavy cream
1 tbsp blackened seasoning
1 tsp parsley 

STEPS:

For grits:

·    Melt ½ stick of butter in small pot
·    Add milk and heavy cream, bring to a boil then set to simmer
·    Add yellow cheddar, grits, salt and pepper
·    Stir occasionally on low heat until grits are fully cooked

Creole cream sauce:

·    In sautee pan, render down Conecuh and Andouille sausage in oil
·    Add garlic and shallot and shrimp
·    Sautee for a minute then deglaze with white wine
·    Add Worcestershire and let reduce by half
·    Add heavy cream along with blackened seasoning and parsley
·    Let sauce tighten up then mount with butter
·    S&P to taste

Our 2 locations include Dumbwaiter Downtown at 167 Dauphin Street, Mobile AL 36602 and our Dumbwaiter Springhill location at 9 Du Rhu Drive, Mobile AL 36608.
Hours of operation for both locations are from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. 
The downtown location is open Mon-Sat and the Springhill location is open Tue-Sat.

SPECIAL EVENT INFORMATION:
Ta-Ta-Taste Off and Bras Across the CAUSEway

Bayside Insurance, iHeartMedia and Providence Hospital present "Bras Across the CAUSEway" on Sunday, October 1st from 5-8p.m.  This event will host a 5K and fun run and will be held at Battleship Park. There will also be a Ta-Ta Taste Off with local restaurants there to showcase a "taste" of a specialty dish. Registering for the 5K and fun run gain you entry to the Taste Off. Admission for non-runners to the taste off of ONLY $10. You can purchase tickets to sample and vote in the taste off in books of 15 for $20, 30 for $25 or 50 for $35.

Proceeds benefit LOCAL breast cancer patients undergoing treatment at Providence Breast Center. This is a family friendly afternoon, so bring the kids to enjoy the evening!

We are looking for corporate and individual sponsorships in any amount. We are also looking for volunteers for the day of the race and Taste Off!
