Before the fifth accusation of sexual misconduct surfaced against Roy Moore, his wife was coming to his defense. Kayla Moore posted a  letter on her Facebook page Sunday of more than 50 Alabama pastors who were standing by her husband's side amid the allegations encouraging others to meet them at the polls to elect him to the U.S. Senate.

There are two local pastors on the list -- but one is saying he was not contacted nor did he give permission to put his name on the letter. Pastor Joseph Smith of Pine Air Baptist Church in Grand Bay says he's upset his name and church were included in the post.

Smith tells us Moore's campaign did call him during the runoff. At that time -- he told them quote, "I'll support Moore because I don't like Luther Strange."

However, Smith says he hasn't heard from the Moore campaign since and can't understand why his name was on the letter. He added he doesn't like the negative attention it is bringing to his small congregation.

Meanwhile, a similar report is coming out of Montgomery.  A pastor there also claiming the Moore campaign did not have permission to use her name on the letter.

FOX 10 News did reach out to Moore's campaign for a response to this story, but have not heard back. We did, however, talk to another local pastor who's name was on the letter and tells me he supports Moore.
