BALDWIN COUNTY, AL (WALA) -

A Christmas Day fire destroyed a home in Baldwin County.

The fire started around 3 p.m. Monday at a house on Gravine Street in the Delta Woods subdivision. That is located off Bromley Road near Highway 225.

Firefighters said a man, woman, and child were in the home when the fire started in a bedroom closet. All three and the family pet made it out safely and no injuries were reported.

The home is a total loss. Investigators haven't determined the cause of the fire, but they said it appears to be an accident.

Firefighters from the Whitehouse Fork Volunteer Fire Department, Stapleton Volunteer Fire Department, Spanish Fort Fire Department, and Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
