MOBILE, AL (WALA) -

Police are now identifying the two victims of the shooting that took place on Felix Street in Mobile last Thursday. Investigators say 20-year-old Kenneth Foster and 19-year-old James Rutledge were found at the place of the shooting on the 2100 block of Felix Street. Mobile Fire and Rescue declared them dead.

Family members of Kenneth Foster and James Rutledge are now heartbroken especially after losing loved ones during the holidays. We spoke to Kenneth Foster Sr., who didn't have much to say but is awaiting answers.

Family members of the two young men are torn, trying to decide whether to grieve, demand justice, or both.

Kenneth Foster Sr. says right now they need the public's help to solve this crime.

"He was tragically killed. Right now we're asking if you have any information to that to give it to the authorities," he said.

They're looking for answers to learn why this happened.

"We want to let the police do their job and we want to find out who's done this awful act," explained Foster.

Over the past few days as word spread, dozens of people took to social media to remember the two young men. Some calling Kenneth Foster, Jr, a funny guy who brought laughter when it was needed most. Others remember James Rutledge as a leader, someone who helped them adapt to new surroundings.

For the families they're not sure what happened last week, but their hope is in a higher power.

"We want to let the process take its course," he said. "We're leaning and trusting in God."

Funeral arrangements for Kenneth Foster Jr. are set for this Saturday, Dec. 30,. at 11 am at Rock of Faith Missionary Baptist Church on 1105 S. Ann St in Mobile.
