Mobile Police host 3rd annual Chili Cook-Off

The public is invited to taste the best chili in the city - cooked by Mobile police officers!

The Mobile Police Department's third annual Chili Cook-Off is a family-fun event. It will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 in Cathedral Square at 300 Conti Street in Downtown Mobile. Teams of police officers will compete against each other with their best chili recipes.

The MPD Chili Cook-Off is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person, and free for children under 5. Tickets can be purchased at police headquarters, 2460 Government Blvd, or at the Downtown Mobile Alliance, 261 Dauphin Street.

Proceeds benefit the Mobile Police Foundation and Crime Prevention Unit.
