A Mobile family is making a desperate plea to the community as they look for their missing loved one.
"We're just trying to be optimistic and find our dad," Brandon Shute said.
Brandon Shute says his family is looking for his father, 65-year-old Clarence Shute Jr. who has been missing for three days.
"He was last seen wearing a pair of grey dress slacks, black shoes and a red vest. He's about 5'8, 200 pounds and a head full of grey hair."
Shute said his father was last seen in the parking lot of First Baptist of Carver Home off Whitney Street in Mobile Sunday morning, but Shute says his dad never made it in to service.
"This is an every Sunday routine. You know, he does the same thing every week. Everywhere he has to go someone has to take him. He's not driving, none of that. The last time they saw him, he was walking through this area right here and by the time they swung the block to get him, he was gone. There was no sign of him."
Shute says it's not like his father to wonder off. He says he suffers from memory loss and he's a diabetic on heavy medicine so his disappearance is a mystery.
Right now, the family is holding on to their faith, hoping someone has seen their loved one or knows where he is.
"We know he's not in the best of shape. He's probably walking around stumbling, probably somewhere laying down or he may have even slipped into a diabetic coma, we don't know. We just want to locate him."
The Mobile Police Department has put out an advisory for Mr. Shute. Anyone with information on him is asked to call them right away.
Brandon Shute has given FOX10 News permission to share his contact information, also. He can be reached at 251-382-8684.
