Davidson, St. Luke's winners of first HiQ matches

MOBILE, AL (WALA) -

The 2018 HiQ academic quiz season is underway, featuring strong performances by all teams involved.

The first match was Tuesday morning at St. Luke's school, where the home team outscored its 2 opponents.  The final score was St. Luke's 41, Theodore 28 and Baker 27.

Bryant High School in Irvington was the site of the second match of the 15 match, regular season.  While Bryant held a 3 point lead over Davidson at halftime, Davidson managed a comeback, winning the contest  The final score was Davidson 45, Bryant 43 and Citronelle 34.
