Troopers identify woman killed on Interstate 10

Alabama State Troopers said a pedestrian was killed early Monday morning on Interstate 10 in Mobile County. 

Investigators identified the victim as 49-year-old Kelly Lutsko of Lordsburg, New Mexico. Troopers said she was struck by a Ford Explorer as she walked in the outside lane of westbound I-10. The driver of the Ford was not injured.

It happened around 3:15 a.m. near the Theodore Dawes Road exit. The interstate was closed for nearly three hours after the incident.
