MOBILE, AL (WALA) -

Lundi Gras meant three times the fun and triple the throws as three parades rolled through downtown Mobile.

First was the Infant Mystics and Order of Doves followed by the Mystics of Time, which was rescheduled because of rain on Saturday.

After the weekend washout, the crowds were ready to party -- showing up and lining the streets.

The Mystics of Time were supposed to roll at 8:30 p.m., but did not get started until around 9:30 p.m. It was a late night with cooler temperatures, but the majority of revelers stuck around.

With a lot of rain this Mardi Gras season, attendance numbers have been down. Joe Cain Day, which normally sees in excess of 100,000 people coming to downtown only saw 16,896 people. Many people, including business owners, are hoping to end Fat Tuesday on a high note.
