'Unverified bomb threat' prompts brief evacuation of Chickasaw High School

CHICKASAW, AL (WALA) -
A bomb threat called into the main office at Chickasaw High School prompted the evacuation of the school shortly before 11 a.m., according to Chickasaw City Schools. No bomb was found.
Law enforcement officials are on the scene at the school. According to the public safety director, everyone is safe.
On Facebook, Chickasaw City School said it was "an unverified bomb threat that called in to the main office."
"There is no substantiated threat at this time," the school system posted earlier on Facebook. "However, as a precaution, students are being evacuated from the building until the police department finishes their investigation."
At 11:25 a.m., students were allowed to re-enter the building and resume class.
