Allegiant Airlines today announced new nonstop service from Nashville to Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport beginning June 8, 2018 with fares as low as $48* one-way.
“We’re thrilled to continue our growth in Destin by offering the only ultra-low-cost, nonstop travel option from Nashville to the Emerald Coast,” said Lukas Johnson, Allegiant senior vice president of commercial. “We’re excited to offer Nashville residents the chance to visit the white sandy beaches and emerald green waters that Destin is known for, as well as contributing to the visitor spending in Okaloosa County.”
This new route will operate twice weekly and its addition means Allegiant will serve 22 cities to Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS). This new route is expected to bring in nearly 12,000 new visitors to Okaloosa County, contributing to visitor spending and the local economy. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiantair.com.
"We are looking forward to connecting directly with Music City and adding yet another key market for folks to enjoy our Emerald Coast," said Tracy Stage, Okaloosa County airports director.
Officials with Allegiant says the company also offers a unique option to Nashville-area travelers with low base airfare and savings on rental cars and hotels. Travelers can book their entire vacation with Allegiant for less.
