CAUGHT IN THE ACT: Man in pajamas snatches statue from business

THEODORE, AL (WALA) -

FOX10 News is committed to putting the spotlight on people "Caught in the Act". Each week, we work with local law enforcement to show surveillance video in the hope you can help crack the case.

Mobile Police are investigating a bizarre incident, where a man smoking a cigarette in pajama pants is seen taking a statue from a Theodore business.

It happened at "Franklin's Starter and Alternator". The business owner says the man pulled up in a white truck in broad daylight right in front of his employees. The video shows the man darting directly to the statue of Saint Francis. He grabs it and takes off.

The business owner says the statue has special meaning, which is why he reached out to FOX10 News hoping that whoever sees this video can help identify the man and call Mobile Police.

If you have any videos or photos of people “Caught in the Act”, we want to see them. Send an email to fox10reportit@fox10tv.com or click here, and we may show them in our newscast. Please send a case number with your email. We must be able to confirm a police report was filed.
