Dance for homeless dogs and cats in our area and support the Stray Love Foundation! The "Dancing for Dogs...Prancing for Cats" dance competition is going on now! Show off your dance skills for the chance to win $250!
If you think you can dance and you're not a paid professional dancer, you can enter as an individual or as a couple. Just fill out an entry form (you can download it online at www.straylovefoundation.com) and send that along with your dance video and a tax deductible $25 donation to The Stray Love Foundation. All entries must be able to perform at the Grand Hotel, Thursday, November 21st at 7:00pm if they make the “top three”.
All the information you'll need to get in the competition is online at http://straylovefoundation.yolasite.com/dance.php.
The top dancers will get to show off their moves at "BIG BAND, BIG FUN… BIG LOVE", a benefit for the Stray Love Foundation that also includes food, music, art, and a silent auction. The event will be Thursday, November 21st from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at The Grand Hotel.
A 20 piece big band, dancers, artists, merchants, sponsors, volunteers and benefactors are working together to create one fabulous night. Fund-raiser art has been created by Nall, and there are many other art donations from some well-known local artists up for auction as well.
City Rhythm Big Band will make you feel as if you’ve gone back in time! Tap your feet to the music, listen to local celebrites sing, enjoy great food and talented dancers. There will be a silent auction and a live auction with guest host and auctioneer, Cherish Lombard from FOX10 and Studio10. You can see photos of the auction items online at www.straylovefoundation.com.
Tickets are $75 per person, or $500 for a table of 8. Premium tables are also available. If you would like to be a sponsor, please send an email to email@example.com, or call sponsor coordinator Kade Laws at 479-414-2144.
The Stray Love Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal advocacy group that has rescued, placed and assisted more than 350 animals. Vet bills and animal care have totaled around $80,000, and the money raised at this event will help with those expenses. You can sign up for the Stray Love Foundation newsletter at www.straylovefoundation.com to get updates via email.
