The YMCA wants to get as many people involved in leading healthy and active lifestyles as possible. That's why they started the annual "Y Campaign for Youth and Families".
There are a couple of events coming up in November. You can help!
On Saturday, November 9th from 10am to 1pm on the soccer fields at the Hearin-Chandler YMCA, there is a big hamburger and hot dog cookout. Everyone is invited to attend! Proceeds go toward the "Y Campaign for Youth and Families."
Then on November 18th from 8:30-9:15am they are having a "P90X challenge". This event is also out on the soccer fields. The cost is $15 and you receive a long sleeve, glow in the dark, t-shirt!
Again, these events raise funds for individuals and families who cannot afford the Y. This includes scholarships for Summer Day Camp, swim lessons, memberships, and other Y programs.
