Ingredients: Kalbi ribs
2 lbs Short ribs
1 tbs Brown sugar
½ cup Soy sauce
1 tbs Grated ginger
1 tbl Honey
1 tbl Finely chopped garlic
2 Green onions, thinly sliced
In a bowl, mix together everything but ribs and green onion. Add ribs and marinate for at least 30 minutes. Lightly grilled ribs for two to three minutes on each side. Place on plate and sprinkle with green onions.
Ingredients: Tuna mac salad
Cooked elbow pasta
Hard boiled eggs
Tuna fish, canned
Salt and pepper
Combine pasta, hard boiled eggs and tuna fish. Add enough mayo to thoroughly coat. Salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Ingredients: Pickled vegetables
Rice wine vinegar
Julienne all vegetables. Mix with rice wine vinegar and refrigerate until ready to serve.

His culinary ability, proven for the last three years in his role as Executive Chef of H20 Cajun Asian Restaurant on Pensacola Beach has garnered him local celebrity. He graduated from the Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon with honors and polished his knife skills in some of the best known restaurants in Pensacola. In 2000, Dan was voted “Best Chef of the Coast” by the Independent News.
His culinary style emphasizes fresh local ingredients and dishes made from scratch. Affectionately called ‘Dano’ by everyone who knows him, he’s an outgoing and humble guy who cares about his community, family and friends as much as he does about food. He’s also an avid surfer.
