MOBILE, Ala. - Samsung's new smart watch, the Galaxy Gear, is set to be announced tomorrow.
Leaked photos show a watch capable of sending email, taking photos, and monitoring people's fitness. Critics say the smart watch isn't that smart at all, and is an attempt by Samsung to show rival Apple that Samsung is the leader in innovative technology.
Verizon has bought full control of its most important business: Verizon Wireless. Verizon is paying the British Telecom company, Vodafone, $130 billion dollars to buy Vodofone's 45% stake in Verizon Wireless. Verizon Wireless customers are not expected to be directly affected.
Microsoft announced a $7.2 billion dollar deal late last night expected to close in the first quarter of 2014.

Ford is recalling 370,000 cars. A spokesman for the automaker says the recall is due to possible rust on the vehicles' steering shafts, which can result in a loss of steering. The cars included in the recall are the 2005 to 2011 Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Cars.
No incidents or injuries related to the recall have been reported.
