The Mobile BayBears is thanking fans for their support during the 2011 season. The BayBears captured the team's third Southern League Championship in September.
The BayBears beat the Tennessee Smokies 3-1 in the series.
This is the BayBears first title since 2004, and the third in franchise history.

Several 2011 BayBears etched their names in the BayBears record books and we were glad each fan could be a part of this special season.
The BayBears look forward to seeing all of our fans again on Wednesday, April 10, 2012, when the BayBears face the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at Hank Aaron Stadium to kickoff a new season!! The BayBears are looking forward to taking on the Blue Wahoos as it creates a new, exciting Southern League rivalry. Mobile and Pensacola square off 14 times at "The Hank" in the new season, including the first five home games of the year!!
