MIAMI (AP) - The tropical system Dorian has regenerated into a tropical storm east of Florida.
The National Hurricane Center in Miami says Dorian's maximum sustained winds early Saturday are 35 mph (55kmh). The storm's center is about 85 miles (140 kilometers) east-northeast of Cape Canaveral.
Dorian is moving north at 6 mph (9 kph).
No coastal watches or warnings are in effect.
Forecasters with the center expect the storm to continue moving north at the same speed, with little change in strength, on Saturday, with a turn toward the northeast Sunday. On the storm's projected track, forecasters expect it to remain well off the southeast U.S. coast.
