CRESTVIEW, Fla. (WALA) - Florida Highway Patrol officials said three people were hurt, one seriously, following an accident between an SUV and a train in Crestview Saturday morning, September 21.
They said it happened about 9 a.m. at S. Rosebud Avenue and Highway 90.
Authorities said 25-year-old Uriel Paredes-Rodriguez failed to stop at a traffic control device and a CSX train hit the passenger side of the vehicle.
Authorities said a trailer being pulled by the SUV was severed and the vehicle overturned, ejecting passenger Manuel Rodrigeuz.
Highway Patrol Officials said Rodrigeuz suffered serious injuries, and Parades-Rodriguez and another passenger, Jose Maldanado, suffered minor injuries.
