Any sports video game fan has heard that line before, but in 2012, the NCAA Football 2013 edition didn't actually have all 124 Division 1 teams "in the game".
The company left South Alabama out because it was unaware the Jags were transitioning to FBS status last season.
However, that's changed for this season. The Jags are now "in the game" for the NCAA 2014 Edition.
EA Sports went above and beyond to include the Jags. USA has realistic fans, mascots, and replicated sound effects and crowd chants. Head coach of the team, Joey Jones says, it's cool, but video games are not really his 'thing'.
"To be honest with you I really don't know anything much about the video games, but I've heard about it. I know it's a big deal. A lot of the players have talked to me about it and coaches have talked to me about it. Ever since tecmo bowl was done back in 1989 was the last time I played a video game," Jones said.
