FOLEY, Ala. (WALA) - In every direction, a child was dressed in costume, and happy as could be.
The Foley Halloween Party of course. Event organizers say for more than 20 years the City of Foley has thrown the party, as a chance for the community to come together and celebrate the spooky holiday of Halloween.
Eerie music creeped through the speakers while the smell of sweet barbeque ribs filled the air on a pleasant Thursday evening in Foley on the corner of Highway 59 and Highway 98.
Local organizations put up booths for games, activities, and treats that the whole family could enjoy, including a dunking tank by the Foley Firefighters, a hay ride, and a costume contest.
Event organizers say there's a big turn out every year, and this year was no different with hundreds flocking to enjoy everything the block party had to offer.
