MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Alabama Department of Corrections said inmate Lonnie Mack Odom, who was an escapee from the Mobile Community Based Facility, was taken into custody at his mother's home. He was taken to Holman Correctional Facility.
Officials said Odom was reported missing from his assigned job site on Tuesday, October 15 around 12:40 a.m.
Odom was last seen by a supervisor around 5:30 p.m. Odom could not be located during a search of the facility.
He was sentenced out of Mobile County on December 15, 2009 to a fifteen year sentence for burglary. Odom’s expiration of sentence date is July 1, 2016, with a possible parole hearing in May, 2014.
