MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Sophomore quarterback Tyler Johnston accounted for four first half touchdowns, leading Spanish Fort (8-0, 6-0) over LeFlore (3-5, 3-3) 49-14 Thursday night, Oct. 17 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
Johnston began the effort with a 31 yard touchdown to Kevin Marion to take a 7-0 first quarter lead on the first Toro possession. The next time he had the ball in his hands, he connected with Sam Harris on a similar 21 yard score.
From there Spanish Fort rolled with a Johnston touchdown run and another touchdown pass to Harris.
The Toros take their undefeated record back home for a game with winless Williamson on The Hill next week.
