Saenger Night Live:
Saenger Night Live, the city's local variety show, downtown at The Saenger Theater Friday night with Mob Towne Revival, Swing with Jon Miller Band, Keith Glass, One Step Ahead Dance, Skit Comedy by Mobile Mystery Dinners and much more. Show starts at 7 pm and it's only $10.
The Science of Beer:
In preparation for BeerFest Saturday night, the Exploreum has a really cool event Friday from 6-9 pm called the Science of Beer. For those 21 and up, come sample over 20 beers along with local and regional food pairings from The Hungry Owl and The Bull. Sixteenth Annual Dauphin Street Beer Festival:
The Dauphin Street Beer Fest is in Downtown Mobile Saturday night at 6 p.m. Restaurants and bars all over downtown will give participants to sample over 90 different microbrews and imports from all over the world. Downtown should be hopping this weekend with all kinds of music. Friday night we have Drivin n Cryin at the Soul Kitchen. The Black Jacket Symphony will be performing Led Zepplin's IV at 8 pm at the Mobile Civic Center. Tickets are 25, Molly Ringwalds will be at Soul Kitchen and Moe's BBQ will have Sweet Jummy Carter and the Outlaws.

Mobile Police are investigating an apparent shooting that left two people dead and one person injured. Witnesses said it happened around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Campus Quarters Apartments on University Boulevard.
