1. Toys for the Holidays
Volunteers of America Southeast partners with the Department of Human Resources and other agencies to identify children in need
2.Pennies for Patriots
Collect change to support Veterans Services which includes counseling, transitional housing, permanent housing, educational support, job training, and job placement.
3. Food for the Holidays
With the cost of food on the rise, many people in the community are suffering from food insufficiency, particularly our senior citizens. Food is distributed 12 months a year.
4. Caring Kits
Personal care items used all year for veterans, homeless, and low income seniors. Items such as soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, and cleaning supplies can truly make a difference in someone’s life.
5. School and Art Supplies
Basic school supplies as well as supplies for arts and crafts such as paint, construction paper, glue, etc. VOA serves individuals with developmental disabilities and hundreds of at-risk youth in after school programs. These supplies are used all year.
6. Baby Bundles
General baby supplies such as diapers, wipes, baby food, etc. Baby bundles are distributed to low income families and foster parents through agency partners.
7. Blankets
Blankets are distributed to the elderly, veterans, children in need, and people with special needs as well as those individuals during the Point In Time Count administered by Housing First.
8. Coats and Jackets

Coats are distributed to the people in Volunteers of America Southeast’s programs including residents at Eagle’s Landing, low income seniors, homeless, and people with developmental disabilities.
9. Warm Hands, Warm Hearts
Gloves, hats, scarves, and socks for all ages. These are distributed to people in tent city as well as low income seniors, people with developmental disabilities, and the homeless.
10. Cash Gift
Needs in the community are constantly growing and changing. A cash gift allows Volunteers of America Southeast to provide for an immediate need in the community.
