Full 2022 college football bowl schedule released

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - The college football bowl season is all but wrapped up as there is only one game remaining, the College Football Playoff National Championship.

After two incredibly competitive semifinal games, No. 3 TCU took down second-ranked Michigan while top-ranked Georgia survived against No. 4 Ohio State to each advance to the National Championship. The game is scheduled for Monday, January 9 at 6:30 p.m. from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Ca.

UAB kicked off the 2022 bowl season by taking down Miami (OH) in the Bahamas Bowl in the Blazers last game before heading to the American Athletic Conference. The Blazers will look different when they head into 2023, with a new head coach and without the nation’s leading rusher.

Down in New Orleans, Alabama set out to prove why they believed they should have made the playoffs when they dismantled the Big XII Champions in the Sugar Bowl. Alabama now looks to again reload as the Tide loses key players on offense and defense before heading into spring football in just a few months.
