How does social media impact mental health of children?

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and we are continuing our weeklong series each morning on FOX10′s Good Day Gulf Coast.

Social media is changing the way we communicate and interact with others. In today’s digital age, social media a big part of our lives, including our children. But, how does it impact their mental health?

We will continue our special series on mental health and suicide prevention awareness Friday morning. We will be focusing on how to help children cope with bullying and the impact bullying can have on their mental health.
