Doing Good: Dippi Outdoors

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Alkeen McMillian, founder of Dippi Outdoors, joined us on Studio 10 to talk about his non-profit. It’s focused on sharing the love for outdoors with kids by providing opportunities for them to hunt and fish.

McMillian hosts a tournament each year, called the Annual Dippi Outdoors Kid’s Crappie Tournament. All kids are entered for FREE and will receive a rod and reel and a chance to win some great prizes including a bye-rite trailer. Sno-cones and lunch was provided for everyone. The year’s event, held in August at Hubbard Landing in Stockon, saw more than 130 kids participating.
