A Preview of The Great Bellingrath Harvest

THEODORE, Ala. (WALA) - Fall is in full swing at Bellingrath Gardens & Home!

Vanessa takes a tour of Bellingrath’s newest showcase: The Great Bellingrath Harvest — a seasonal celebration of autumn.

Olivia Garrett, Marketing & PR Manager at Bellingrath, says the gardens are now filled with pumpkins, scarecrows, and a variety of fall plants. She shares that it took a team of 20 to bring the displays to life throughout the property.

In addition to the fall decorations, Bellingrath will host a Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee on October 25. Garrett says the event will include trick-or-treating, a costume contest, crafts, games, and photo opportunities for families celebrating Halloween.

Later in the season, Bellingrath will begin their 62nd Annual Cascading Mums display. Starting in late October and running through November, the exhibit features what Bellingrath describes as the nation’s largest outdoor display of cascading chrysanthemums, with blooms in shades of yellow, red, bronze, and lavender.

The Great Bellingrath Harvest continues through November 8.
