This joint food drive, based around the Iron Bowl, is an annual, student-run event created by the Center for Service and Leadership and the West Alabama Food Bank in 1994. Both schools will be collecting food donations until the Iron Bowl.

In the seven weeks leading up to the rivalry face-off, the food drive unites the University of Alabama and Auburn University communities under the greater cause of fighting hunger and poverty in Alabama.

In its over 3-decade run, the food drive has raised more than 10 million pounds of food for Alabamians in need.
