Knight’s plan to transfer comes after a true freshman season in which he finished with 259 passing yards and two touchdowns.

He added 13 carries for 178 yards and four additional scores during two appearances, including his first start against Mercer, leading the team to a 62-17 win.
The former five-star recruit will join former Greene County wide receiver Jase Mathews in Oxford, who flipped his commitment from Auburn on the final day of the early signing period.
Knight will now battle for a starting spot for the Rebels after quarterback Trinidad Chambless was denied a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA, according to ESPN.
