Mobile police search for woman wanted on warrants for robbery, eluding officers

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile police are seeking the public’s help finding a woman wanted on multiple active warrants.

Police said Samantha Cherry, 26, entered the CVS Pharmacy on Old Shell Road, picked up several cleaning items and concealed them in a bag.

Cherry told the victim she was going to use mace, according to police.

Cherry then left the scene in a vehicle before officers arrived.

In addition to third-degree robbery, Cherry is also charged with felony eluding after she fled from officers in her vehicle later that week when officers tried to stop her, police said.

Anyone with information on Cherry’s whereabouts or that could lead to her arrest can call the FOX10 Fugitive Files hotline at 251-208-7211.
