Saints’ October opponent in Paris will be Steelers, not Browns
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Saints will say bonjour to an AFC North opponent when they play the NFL’s first game in France this fall, but it won’t be the Cleveland Browns as first thought.
The NFL officially announced Wednesday Morning (May 13) that the Saints’ opponent on Oct. 25 in Paris will be the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Browns will not play an international game in the 2026 season.
The announcement is expected to come as early as Wednesday.

French radio company RMC Sports had reported on Feb. 2 that the Browns would be the Saints’ opponent for the Paris game. The NFL never confirmed the report, and in March granted both the Saints and the Browns international marketing rights to Italy.
France remained exclusively the province of the Saints on the league’s marketing scheme.
