Brees and Shough recruited Jordan back to the Saints
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Cam Jordan is back in the Black and Gold for Year 16. It’ll be his final year in the NFL, and all with the same team.
“The open line I’ve had with Mickey (Loomis) as well with the Saints and all my guys here has been nothing short of a blessing. At the end of the day, it was mutual benefit for us to come back. I always believe in Black and Gold, and pumping up the draft like I’m part of the team. I don’t think that ever going to change. The way I affect this city is never going to stop. Of course, there are always avenues that you could take, that’ll take you away from home. But it’s become home for us. You always end up back at the crib. I definitely am going to take to this like every game is my last to ever play. All my teammates have been so locked in with me,” said Cam Jordan.
Even the Saints current quarterback recruited Jordan to return to the Saints.
“I’ve talked with Shough four or five times this offseason. Pestering the hell out of me honestly about when I was signing back. Like I didn’t have any other avenues, it was crazy,” said Cam Jordan.
Current and past Saints recruited Jordan back to New Orleans, including legend Drew Brees. He said Black and Gold bleed forever.
