‘Trying to be consistent’: Ryan Coleman-Williams preparing for junior season at Alabama
TAMPA, Fla. (WBRC) - Ryan Coleman-Williams enters his junior season with a new number, a new last name, and a desire to be more consistent.
Coleman-Williams’ numbers were down last year from his freshman year and untimely drops became an issue for him throughout the season.
Coleman-Williams said he has been working hard in the offseason to make this season his best one yet.
“My main focus is trying to be a consistent guy day in and day out. With the work that I put in, the results will show for themselves,” Coleman-Williams said.
Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer chose to bring Coleman-Williams to SEC Media Days, along with defensive backs Bray Hubbard and Zabien Brown.
“Him [Coleman-Williams] being able to stay strong and continue to focus on what he needs to improve on and what he can control is just so impressive,” DeBoer said. “He’s been as locked in as you could ever imagine.”
