Drew Brees serves customers at Raising Cane’s in Canton
CANTON, OH (WVUE) - Drew Brees served food to fans at a North Canton Raising Cane’s on Friday morning, a day before his enshrinement to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Saints fans lined up ahead of the event, sporting number nine jackets.
Inside, Brees was joined by three other Saints Hall of Fame members: Rickey Jackson, Willie Roaf and Morten Andersen.
“Keep the speech under 20,” Andersen joked to Brees, causing the four to erupt in laughter.
The Saints legend signed jerseys and helmets before getting to work.
Behind the counter, Brees worked as a cashier for about half an hour, taking orders from fans before personally handing them their food.
“Not every day you get Cane’s from a Hall of Famer,” one fan said after Brees handed over her chicken and sweet tea.

Another fan called Brees a “pro” behind the counter.
“I’ve observed a lot of Cane’s orders being processed,” Brees joked.
After their chat, Andersen made his way to the drive-thru, where Brees served the Hall of Famer his order.
