‘GLOW’ forum brings women together to talk mental health

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Junior League of Mobile held a forum Thursday night focused on women’s mental health, hormones, sleep and burnout.

The forum was called “GLOW,” which stands for Gather, Listen, Open Up and Wellness.

FOX10 News anchor Lenise Ligon moderated a panel of seven experts.

The crowd submitted its own questions, ranging from clinical concerns like identifying peri-menopause symptoms to practical decisions such as when to try sleep medication and how to wean off it.

The idea for the forum was to help women feel more connected and supported.
