Fairhope breaks ground on new Foundation Park

FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WALA) - Fairhope broke ground Friday morning on a new park called Foundation Park.

The park will be located at South Section Street and Twin Beech Road. The project is a partnership between the city of Fairhope and the Fairhope-Point Clear Community Foundation.

The city said the park will provide a new place to enjoy the outdoors. Future amenities will include a splash pad, officials said.
