PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - The skies over Pensacola will roar next weekend as the 2026 Naval Air Station Pensacola Homecoming Airshow returns Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7.

General admission is free for the two-day event, which is one of the area’s largest annual attractions, drawing over 250,000 spectators. This year’s theme, “200 Years Forged Here,” honors the installation’s 200th birthday dating back to its founding as Naval Shipyard Pensacola in 1826.

Both the Main Gate (south end of Navy Boulevard) and the West Gate (south end of Blue Angel Parkway) will open to visitors at 8 a.m. both days, with air show performances beginning at 9:30 a.m. Parking along the roads leading onto the base is prohibited.

Entry & ID Requirements:

  • Anyone 18 and older must show a REAL ID-compliant state-issued photo ID.
  • Foreign nationals must show a valid passport.

Prohibited Items: Base officials remind attendees that backpacks, large bags, coolers, ice chests, outside food and drinks, pets (service animals allowed), drones, bicycles, skateboards, and scooters are not allowed. Small purses, diaper bags, and small camera bags are permitted. Weapons of any kind — including pocket knives, multi-tools, and pepper spray — are strictly prohibited regardless of permit status.
