When asked who or what has had the greatest impact on her life, the answer is easy. Lenise's greatest role models have always been her mother and grandmother. “My mother is one of my best friends. She was a single parent and among the many lessons she taught me, there's one that always stuck with me—that you have to work hard for what you want in life. Ethel, my grandmother, was perhaps the biggest giver I've ever known. She spent much of her life helping others and would have never hesitated to give a complete stranger the clothes off her back.”

Lenise and her husband currently reside in Baldwin County with their son, Sidney and daughter Phoenix.
