Ashley Bowerman is a general assignment reporter for WSFA 12 News. She joined the team in February 2020. Ashley is from San Antonio, Texas, and graduated with a degree in Electronic Media from Texas State University in 2019. In school, she was the Assistant News Director for KTSW 89.9 - the FM radio station on campus and a reporter/anchor for Bobcat Update - the student-run newscast. She was also a member of the Texas State Strutters, a collegiate dance team. Her last year in school she received the Electronic Media student of the year award. When she isn’t reporting news, Ashley enjoys spending time with family and her dog, playing guitar and shopping.
