MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) --We're learning more from Mobile Police on the death of Danniella Vian.
Her car was found less than two weeks ago.
It was submerged in Bayou Sara and there was a body inside.
Police say they believe the body is that of Vian, and the preliminary investigation indicates that Vian was alive when her car went into the water.
Police also say that the condition as to how Vian's car was found in Bayou Sara is consistent with that of an accident.
Mobile Police Chief Lawrence Battiste said, "Everything that we have found to this point indicates, or at least appears to us, to be an accidental incident. We wanted to at least let the public know that we're not looking for someone this is going around abducting women."
Again, the cause of Vian's death is undetermined.
Police say the toxicology report still needs to be completed and the investigation into her death will remain ongoing.
They also say it's hard to say right now when all the questions will be answered.
