There are some fresh and furry faces at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo.
Meet Taz and Crash.
The baby kangaroos just arrived at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo less than one month ago, and zoo keepers tell us they are settling in nicely with their other baby joey friends, Bloke and Aussie.
The zoo tells us they get several baby kangaroos as soon as they are ready to leave their mothers pouch, and are sent down to southern Baldwin County to be socialized through the zoo’s animal encounters.
“A lot of people go to a lot of places and see stuff, but here you get to come in and touch, feel, smell, everything, you’re really just immersed in that animal one on one, and I think its really great we get to offer unique stuff like that here,” said Andy Jordan, the zoo’s encounter captain.
You can not only just watch these guys play from a far, you can get to know them one on one by stopping by the zoo and having your own encounter with these little guys.
They are currently out in exhibit right now.
