Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts

Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts will transfer to Oklahoma.

Hurts announced his move today via a Player's Tribune article titled "To My Alabama Family."

Hurts wrote in the article: "I’ve decided to take my talents to the University of Oklahoma, where I will continue my development as both a quarterback and as a student."

Hurts will be a graduate transfer and therefore immediately available to Oklahoma, with a year of eligibility remaining.

Hurts was a two-year starter at Alabama and led the Crimson Tide to a pair of national championship games. As a freshman, he was Southeastern Conference offensive player of the year.
