The carnival season in Prichard wrapped up Monday with the city's last parade of the year.

There was a big turnout for the Prichard Mardi Gras Association. Revelers packed the streets to catch beads, moon pies, and other throws.

The threat of rain wasn't slowing down people who turned out for the fun. Some even flipped their umbrella inside out to make catching the goods even easier.

The Prichard Mardi Gras Association has been parading since 1978.
