MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) -- It was three days before Christmas -- this "Caught In The Act" surveillance video coming to us from Team Sheriff at a home off Raphael Court in West Mobile.

The guy walking around in the video doesn't live there -- which might explain why he's cautiously approaching the home.

CAUGHT IN THE ACT: Suspected wanted for purse, bike, and car theft

He was probably unaware his every move was being watched. Investigators say he went inside the home through an unlocked door and stole two purses. He would take the cash out before dumping both bags down the street.

And there's more -- the same night, same neighborhood -- another home and another surveillance camera rolling -- the same guy was seen helping himself to a bike.

But according to deputies the crime spree didn't end there -- as the Mobile County Sheriff's Office was completing the report where the purses were found, they received another call about a stolen vehicle a few streets over and believe the suspect upgraded the bike for a new ride.

If you know who the guy in the video is -- the Mobile County Sheriff's Office wants to hear from you 251-574-8633. Callers can remain anonymous.
